Happy Friday!!
Who has a skincare routine that they try to do everyday? I do!! As I get older (hitting that big 3-0 recently), I get more paranoid just thinking about wrinkles and how my skin will age. And since right now I don't have hardly any wrinkles (thanks asian genes!), I try my best to prevent them in the early stage before they even have a chance to form right now. So every day and night I do my usual skincare routine and make sure I put on all the creams and lotions on my face. It's been a habit that is good for my skin in the long term!
The company, Charleston Naturally was super nice and offered to send me some skincare products to try out as part of my regular skincare routine. And since I've always on the hunt for new skincare products, I was happy when they sent me two Dr. Hauschka products to try out and see how I like it. They also offer all kinds of organic hair, body, and beauty products that's safe and effective for you and the whole family. Something that's really good to look into. :)
Both products mentions that it helps mature skin but like I had said earlier, it honestly doesn't hurt to use it while we're younger to help prevent for the long term. :)
Dotted under the eyes and gently rub the eye cream around.
Prices: $58.96 for the Regenerating eye cream & $42.96 for the Normalizing day oil.
Overall: If I were to purchase either products, I would definitely go with the regenerating eye cream. It's lightweight and it may be an extra step in my makeup routine but it absorbs so quickly that it's not even a hassle. It also has a light citrus smell that is not bad at all. The normalizing day oil I might give that another try some day but as of now, I'm holding off. I think if someone had non-sensitive skin then I would say give it a try. But my skin is so fickle sometimes, I have to be careful.
Now onto the best part!! Charleston Naturally was generous enough to offer one lucky SheisLovely reader their own Dr. Hauschka regenerating eye cream.

I love this stuff!! I got a few of their products last month to review and I just love teh face wash and regenerating eye cream. I swear I have noticed a huge difference from the eye cream. Maybe not with wrinkles, but my complexion and the feel and look of my skin has been so much better. I'll be 30 in a few months so I've been trying to do preventitive stuff as much as I could for the last 10 years. You don't look 30 though; you look great!

ReplyDeleteI've heard and read so much about Dr. Hauschka products and been meaning to try them out - the eye cream sounds great, but such a shame about the face oil! Perhaps it's the fact it's the oil that causes breakouts? Either way, thank you for your honest review, it's very helpful! x
ReplyDeleteThank you! I honestly think it's the oil too that caused the breakouts. So sad. :(
DeleteI love Dr. Hauschka products in general but perhaps I won't be trying the face oil however. Great review.

How exciting, I love Dr Hauschka products. They literally saved my skin a few year ago when I would break out all the time. Eventually I got fed up and started going to routine Dr Hauschka facials and they turned things around. I love how it's a natural product and focused on drawing toxins out of your body rather than applying a bandaid solution. Enjoy your products!
