Happy Monday!

It's slowly getting to the end of Summer here in Seattle but it's still hanging onto dear life from what it seems. One moment we're having loud thunderstorms (scaring our poor Kobi..) and the next moment we're having sun shining bright with blue skies. And supposedly this week we're having more great Summer weather. haha.. Crazy bi-polar weather I tell ya!! Honestly, I can't wait until it cools down even more.. that's one thing I love about the Pacific Northwest is our cooler temps and not feeling so sticky when it's muggy while walking outside. It seems to be the opposite right now so I can't wait until Fall!

A couple weekends ago, the Hubs wanted to go look for some house items at Ross and I came across this colorful unique looking skirt. I admit I don't really shop a lot at Ross just because I can never find anything that fits or that I like. So I just gave up on the whole idea of shopping there but since I was walking around and waiting for him to find whatever he was looking for. I saw this just in front hanging by itself. I thought the print looked like something off of an art painting. Just spills of pretty colors mesh together. haha.. I don't know maybe it's just me but it's definitely something I don't have in my closet so I bought it! ;) I paired it with my Chicnova black loose fitting blouse that I had received from them and just in time to be apart of my Fall wardrobe!

How would you incorporate colors into Fall?

  2. The print is really pretty on the skirt, like a painting! The weather has been up and down here too. One day it feels like fall, and the next it's scorching hot.

  11. I have heard the weather is crazy out there. Our shibas don't even notice thunder or fireworks. It's really weird. Poor Kobi! Give him extra hugs! :)

  12. Dear Sheila, I think you made a wise choice: matching bold colors and prints to blacks or neutrals you are on a safe ground.
