Happy Monday!

As you can tell from my recent posts of (here) and (here) that lately florals has been catching my eye. I would say it's one of the perfect prints for the Spring time! So when I got this floral dress, I was thinking about waiting until Summer to wear it but instead it became my weekend Saturday outfit with just running simple errands and doing some shopping. And I just can't get enough of pattern mixing too! And this outfit is a mix of it.. leopard, polka dots, and floral. The pretty colors of mint and orange plus mixing in with all the gold accessories makes it great for Spring too! Oh and I have to say... these Sam Edelman flats are one of the most comfiest flats ever! I have to admit, more comfier than my Tory Burch Revas! ;)

What prints would you mix for Spring?

Happy Wednesday!

What a change in the Spring weather! It was rainy and gloomy from my post on Monday (here) but suddenly mother nature decided to shine over us with some sunshine for this week. It feels great even though it still has a slight chill in the mornings. haha.. can't complain though! It's sun versus rain here! ;)

So each time I wear these aviators, it reminds me of my dad because he would wear his awesome aviators all the time which he still has since the '70s... really cool! It made me want a pair! Also, it kind of reminds me of the movie, Top Gun too. I popped my collar on the last photo for it. hahaha... As you can see, I've been loving my chambrays lately.. and I like this cropped floral top that I found at the Rack which works for both Spring and Summer. The shades of purples are so pretty and jewel-toned. I know Spring is all about pastels but to me, jewel tones works perfectly in with the right pairings!

What do you think about wearing jewel tones for Spring?

Happy Monday...

What can I say.. this is how I felt this past weekend due to the rainy weather in Seattle - gloomy. But this is also a prime example on how I would style these beautiful pair of multi-colored flats! I love adding pops of colors to any outfits that are basic neutrals. Not necessarily just for black and grey but any solid neutrals which you can add a fun touch of color(s) to help brighten it up! Even though the weather is crappy. haha.. And I'm loving my Zara top because of the faux leather shoulders! Edgy. ;)

How would you dress up basic neutrals?

So I've teamed up again with a group of lovely bloggers to give you guys another fun giveaway! Look down below at the Rafflecopter and enter away by following the entries! The winners will each get a prize so it won't be one winner takes all, there will be multiple winners! So the odds of winning will be higher!

What's in My Beach Bag?

Tote bag: c/o Teke Company (Here)

Happy Wednesday!

So what's in my beach bag? I will tell you in a minute! I was given the opportunity to pick a bag from Teke Company and was asked to customize the colors for the base and accent of the tote bag. I went with my all-time favorite neutral color - (light) grey and an accent of sky blue. I received the large tote size and I knew I wanted to use it for a beach and travel bag (maybe a travel bag post later when I go to Hawaii!) because it was big enough to fit everything I wanted to carry to the beach and still have room for anything else extra. Keep in mind this was a casual day to the beach.. just walking around and not really laying out to tan some. If so, I would've brought a towel as well and not wear leggings. haha.. ;)

Here's what I packed:

4. Chanel sunglasses

What's great about Teke Company is that all of their products are made with sustainable materials such as boiled wool, 100% organic cotton rope, and standard zippers. All of their bags and clutches are made in USA (always will be) and are really durable like leather. And the dyes that they use to make all the colors are all eco-friendly. Can't get anything better than that in my opinion! I love how they put different compartments inside and outside the tote, makes it easier to organize all my stuff. And at first I thought the material was easy to catch on dog hair (thanks Kobi!) but that wasn't the case which I was thrilled about! I am overall happy with this tote and will definitely carry it on with me whenever I travel or hit the beach! :)

What would you put in your beach bag? I would love to know!

Also, this is my 100th post here on my blog! Yayayay!! Something fun will be coming up very soon!!

Bottom: Old Navy (Here)

Sunglasses: Chanel (old)
Ring: Urban Outfitters (Here)
Necklace: c/o Birds On a Wire (Here)

Happy Monday!

When I received this Whitney necklace from BOAW (isn't it so pretty?!), I knew exactly how I would style it.. with emerald green of course! Gold and emerald has been a favorite color combo of mine. I just like how the gold chunky chain looks against my emerald top that I got a long time ago in Canada. I think the store was called Garage...? I am pretty sure it was from there. My memory has been horrible lately.. for instance, in my guest post for Nat in Love (here).. for my tank top I put it was from Old Navy but after looking at my post again on her blog, I was like dangit... it's from Victoria's Secret! You can even see the pink doggie logo on the bottom right. hahaha.. oops on me! >.<

I hope everyone's weekend went well! I would say our weather in Seattle has been bi-polar.. it was hailing on Saturday and then sun came out which got warm.. then gloomy then downpour of rain.
Yay for Spring...

What do you think of Emerald and Gold?

Happy Monday!

What do you know.. I'm in a skirt again! haha.. I know I had said it (here) that I probably wouldn't be showing these pale legs until summertime but I just couldn't wait to wear this floral skirt that I scored at Target! And how fitting it goes with the oatmeal boyfriend cardigan and mint floral trimmed top that I got at the Rack. :) Accessorized with Birds On a Wire jewelry and I'm good to go for Spring!

Laura from Birds On a Wire handcrafts all of her jewelry and has great line of vintage pieces that are just simply amazing! My favorite has been this Emerson necklace with the rhinestone pendant. And I've been wearing it often with my outfits lately and it's great to dress up and down with. I've always love wearing long necklaces because I feel you can easily layer it with other necklaces and be creative. And definitely can't go wrong with a pair of Francis earrings that are just the perfect size! Please go check out BOAW! And see other pieces such as the Whitney necklace and Bissonnet necklace. :)

What do you guys think of my BOAW jewelry?

Happy Wednesday!

If you guys didn't know already.... I wear glasses! Well actually I wear contacts but once in a while I do put on my glasses if my eyes get irritated. And since I don't often update the prescription of my glasses, the current ones I have are slightly outdated and sometimes my eyes focuses too hard which causes bad headaches. Boo.... so Firmoo sent me another pair with the updated prescription and they are nice! Last year they sent me sunglasses which I got to do a review (here). So this time around, I chose these frames because I thought I would look cute as a nerd. hahaha.. j/k! I wanted them because I wanted something different and these are totally something I wouldn't have thought I would pick! Go figure. I would use these as my alternative whenever I need it.

When I received them (fast shipping by the way!), they came in their protective hard case with a cleaning cloth which is convenient. I sometimes have a hard time finding a cleaning cloth to wipe down even my sunglasses so it's great that they include it in with the glasses. And it gets better! Firmoo offers an awesome free for first time buyers program. Something you should definitely go check out if you haven't gotten a pair from them before! :)

Oh by the way - how lovely is the weather we're getting in Seattle?! It's been amazing and I'm loving our Spring this year so far! Hope the rest of you are getting great weather too!

What do you think of my new glasses?
