Happy Monday!

I missed out on the official day of Fall here in Seattle because I was actually enjoying the sunny weather over in Hawaii. haha.. I was away on vacation most of last week in lovely Oahu for a friend's wedding. I was one of her bridesmaid (you can read about her bridal shower here). So if you follow me on Instagram, I posted a bunch of pictures (mostly food!) of our vaca there. It was a lot of fun and relaxing, definitely didn't want to leave! And of course the rain welcomed us back. I miss Hawaii already. Boo.... can't wait for next trip back!

I had taken these outfit photos right before we had left but didn't have the time to edit this post beforehand. So here they are! I had wore this mint chiffon peplum top with an over-sized black blazer to work. A great mix of feminine with masculine. Sometimes I get in the mood of wearing menswear-inspired clothing. It brings out a different style of mine. :)

Have you tried to add menswear-inspired to your style?

Happy Monday!

It's really no secret that I love anything fox-related. Remember this past outfit post? Clothing.. home decor.. anything cute that has a fox.. I typically would want it just because it reminds me SO much like our furbaby, Kobi. So when I received this Urban Outfitter tee from my sister as part of my matron-of-honor gift, I've been wearing it often during the weekend because it's just so comfy and adorable! I paired it with my Madewell shorts and some booties that I scored recently at Ross and it's a great transition between Summer and Fall.

Now for a photoshoot with Kobi!!!! ^__^

Kobi is special... ;)

Speaking of the weekend, did anyone shop the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target collab? I was one of the crazy ones that stayed up really late refreshing every min for the collection to be available online. I almost gave up due to lack of sleep. But then I decided to wait a little bit longer and I was able to purchase the two bags that I wanted and that was that. I ended up getting up early and going to the nearest Target just to check it out and I've never seen anything like it before.. Women shoving.. running.. and even threatening.. but luckily for me, I got what I wanted and maybe more... but at least I was able to make it out alive! hahaha... I can't wait to start using the bags and style them for upcoming blog posts. :)

What did you guys get??

Happy Thursday!

As you can't tell by my title, we're getting somewhat closer to Fall but not quite. As I'm typing this blog post out, it is 90+ degrees outside and I'm wearing some short shorts. That's right.. I'm wearing less as possible because the heat is just too much. haha.. I may complain but hey I like my Fall/Winter! As for the outfit above, I had wore this earlier in the week to work when the temps were way cooler and it had rained a couple days before. I'm trying to slowly transition from Summer to Fall but definitely keeping the neutral tones in place still. I love this blush-nude blouse that I got recently at H&M during the Labor Day weekend. It is going to be my main color to go with a lot of Fall pieces like this dotted mini skirt and leggings. And even looks great with some jeweled tones. Something to look forward to. :)

I'm also trying some new hairstyles to be less boring at work if you haven't noticed. Hope you likes!

What is your main color for Fall?

Happy Monday!

It's slowly getting to the end of Summer here in Seattle but it's still hanging onto dear life from what it seems. One moment we're having loud thunderstorms (scaring our poor Kobi..) and the next moment we're having sun shining bright with blue skies. And supposedly this week we're having more great Summer weather. haha.. Crazy bi-polar weather I tell ya!! Honestly, I can't wait until it cools down even more.. that's one thing I love about the Pacific Northwest is our cooler temps and not feeling so sticky when it's muggy while walking outside. It seems to be the opposite right now so I can't wait until Fall!

A couple weekends ago, the Hubs wanted to go look for some house items at Ross and I came across this colorful unique looking skirt. I admit I don't really shop a lot at Ross just because I can never find anything that fits or that I like. So I just gave up on the whole idea of shopping there but since I was walking around and waiting for him to find whatever he was looking for. I saw this just in front hanging by itself. I thought the print looked like something off of an art painting. Just spills of pretty colors mesh together. haha.. I don't know maybe it's just me but it's definitely something I don't have in my closet so I bought it! ;) I paired it with my Chicnova black loose fitting blouse that I had received from them and just in time to be apart of my Fall wardrobe!

How would you incorporate colors into Fall?

Oui to White

Happy Wednesday!

The outfit above was what I wore to a birthday party from over the weekend. Even though it was technically before Labor Day, I feel white is okay for anytime around no matter what the fashion rules are! I always think if you want to wear it, then you should wear it. :) So Lookbook Store had sent me this white version of the infamous skort that almost every blogger has been wearing! I even have the Zara black version that I wore in this post here. And to compare the two, this Lookbook Store one actually fits me better! The Zara skort runs bigger and it is unfortunately loose on me.. but with a little bit of tucking it's not as bad. ;)

I also found this little "Oui" ring from Nordstrom the other day and it's just the cutest midi ring I've gotten so far. Lately I've been obsessed on getting midi rings (if you couldn't tell from my previous outfits) so my fingers has been stacked of gold and silver dainty rings. hahaha..  Did you guys get any good deals from the Labor Day sales?? I did some minor shopping over the weekend, both in stores and online and am starting to look for Fall clothing. I'm honestly excited just because I can look forward to the holidays AND drink my pumpkin spice latte again!!

Are you getting ready for the Fall season?

Happy Labor Day!!

Hope everyone is having a great day off and enjoying the last moments of Summer!

Well I'm back to blogging on a regular schedule again! I decided to take the whole last week off to spend and celebrate my 2 year wedding anniversary that was last Tuesday. The Hubs and I decided to take an impromptu day trip to Canada (Richmond B.C. to be exact) and it was just a fun day filled with eating and more eating! Being pretty close to the border gives us the great advantage to hop on over to our Canadian neighbors and enjoy their delish foods. :)

I recently purchased this black chiffon romper from Forever 21 last month which was something I've contemplated on for a long time. For one, Summer is almost over (yet it's still warm outside) and how often would I wear it.. and two, a romper is definitely something out of my normal style just because it's a one piece that has to look right on certain people. I found this particular one look not too bad on the model online and seemed like something I can wear with just the right accessories. Plus it has pockets!! And since it was kinda cloudy that day of our little Canadian trip, I decided to layer with my Aeropostale sheer blouse and add a neon pink belt with some gold flats. Slowly transitioning it to be more wearable for Fall. It was definitely a great comfortable outfit for a day of eating! hahaha..

How would you wear a romper?

P.S. If you haven't noticed already, my blog got a little makeover last week by the lovely Victoria from Oh So Pretty Blog! I thought she did an amazing job and she definitely let her creativity flow to match my style and personality. :) I hope you guys like it too!!
