Necklace: J.Crew Factory (Here)

Happy Tuesday!

I had recently chose these pair of lola jeggings from Aeropostale and I just love how they fit and comfy they are! Did you know that Aeropostale recently launched their annual Teens For Jeans campaign in partnership with DoSomething.org? The campaign encourages young people to donate their gently used denim to help teens in need. Approximately one in three homeless people in the U.S. is under the age of 18 and one of the most requested items that young people in homeless shelters ask for is a pair of jeans. So now through February 16th, 2014.. Aeropostale is encouraging supporters to participate by bringing gently worn jeans, any size, and brand to any Aeropostale store in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canda, or Mexico. All donations will be distributed to local homeless shelters and charities. As a thank you for each pair donated, Aeropostale will give an additional 25% off a new pair of jeans though no purchase is necessary.

So if you have any gently used denim jeans that you don't need/want anymore, please think about donating to your closest Aeropostale to help out another. :)

Happy Thursday!

Today I wanted to talk to you about Giftly.com. It is a website that provides an great alternative to gift giving in the form of giftcards. But these aren't just any gift cards, you can send/give actual money funds that goes to the recipient but you can choose the "theme" on what you would think they can use it towards. They have lots of themes to choose from such as dinner, movies, or spa dates and it's pretty cool to click through on all the suggestions. But in the end, the recipient can choose themselves on how to spend the gifted funds. Either they would like a credit to their debit/credit card or a payment directly to their PayPal account. It's ultimately their choice but still a nice gesture from the giver. And the recipients will have the opportunity to let you know how they've spent your gift card. :)

Check out below of a screenshot of how it looks like when you want to make a Giftly for someone.

Giftly.com is easy to use and pretty self-explanatory. You can learn more about them by clicking the "How It Works" link on top and it will give a brief step by step. So next time you have some trouble of thinking on what to get for that special someone or a friend, check out Giftly! You can also check out their blog here!

And speaking of that special someone, Happy Birthday to my wonderful Husband/photographer!
Today is his birthday and it'll be a fun and exciting day! <3

Winter Aztec

Cardigan: c/o Rosewholesale (Here)
Leggings: c/o Rosewholesale (Here)
Boots: Target (Here)
Necklace: c/o LookBookStore (Here)

Happy Tuesday!

I had received this chunky aztec print cardigan and colorful leggings from Rosewholesale a week ago and it took me awhile to realize that they look great with one another! So why not style them together for an outfit post? I've been wanting too add an aztec print black and white cardigan to my closet since Fall but never found the right one. Either it's too baggy or sells out too fast in my size! Luckily Rosewholesale had this one available that they let me pick out and I'm super happy with it! It is pretty thick so it keeps me warm and the leggings are so bold that it makes me step out of my comfort zone. I did pair them with knee-high boots so it tones down some of the bold colors. ;)

What do you think of these two paired together?

Happy Tuesday!

One thing I love about the blogosphere is getting to know other bloggers and having the opportunity to guest post for some. :) Amy from Cupcakes & Couture had asked me to step in while she is recovering. So of course I was happy to help! I threw together this cozy winter outfit on our only snow day here in Seattle. If you want to see the full guest post and outfit details, please go check it out over here! And let me know what you think. :)

Happy Thursday!

Today I wanted to talk about a clothing company called Six Twenty that is based in sunny Los Angeles. I was given an opportunity to style one of their tees from their Classix collection. So I chose their long sleeve wide v-neck tee in black because to me, you can never have enough black tees in your closet! Six Twenty's mission is that you can find high quality basic tees without having to burn a hole in your wallet. And I agree! When I received the tee, I couldn't believe how soft it was! The quality was amazing and it felt like it could've been more than what it really was. I definitely would need to start stocking up more! :)

To learn more about Six Twenty, check out their TumblrTwitter, and Facebook.

Belated New Years

Tights: Target (Here)
Shoes: Target (Pricey version)
Necklace: c/o SammyDress (Here)
Bracelet: c/o SammyDress (Here)
Lips: Revlon Lip Butter in Lollipop (Here)

Happy Tuesday!

First outfit of 2014! I had wore this particular outfit to a friend's New Years Eve party. I wanted to wear this lovely black chiffon dress that I chose from the Bethany Mota x Aeropostale collection just because I really like how the dress drapes. The cross necklace gives the dress an elegant touch and pairing it with some colorful tights was perfect to party in. ;) I also added some silver accessories including this unique eagle/hawk claw bracelet that I received from SammyDress.com. Pretty cool huh? I like that it's adjustable and able to cuff it lower or upper on the arm.

As for my New Years resolution, I always have the same one each year but this time I am going to keep it more realistic and spend more time with friends and family. I seem to always be busy which is a good thing but never have enough time for others around me. I need to start making those dinner/lunch plans!

What is your New Years resolution?

Also, I've teamed up with Iconemesis by giving away an awesome iPhone case. Winner gets a choice of any case they want from their website! So all you will need to do is go to my Instagram and enter! It's super simple and it's also my first time ever running a giveaway on Instagram.
For more details go check it out here. And good luck!!

Operation Smile Deux [Sponsored]

Friday, January 3, 2014

Happy Friday!

Remember when I first wrote/introduce about Operation Smile here? Well that was almost a year ago and I still love and believe in these types of charities. Ones that helps those in need especially young children. Now if you haven't read about Operation Smile. Let me give you a brief background about them:

As an international charity for children, we measure ourselves by the joy we see on all of the faces we help. At Operation Smile, we're more than a charity. More than an NGO. We're a mobilized force of medical professionals and caring hearts who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery and related medical care for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.

As one of the most prominent charities for children in the world, we work in over 60 countries to heal children’s smiles and bring hope for a better future. Together, we are saving children’s lives.

Another great thing is, CampusBookRentals.com still donates to their partner, Operation Smile each time a textbook is rented. And can't forget that they also have their program called Rent Back that allows students rent their textbooks out to other students and make some extra money. So instead of selling their books back, they can rent them out to those who needs them as well! It is a win-win situation in my opinion. :)

So if you're interested in donating to Operation Smile, please click here! Or if you just want to learn more, you can go check out their website. And thanks to CampusBookRentals.com for letting me spread the word (again) of this great cause around to you guys.

Hope you have a great weekend! My regular blogging schedule will resume next week!
I have some exciting things coming up!
