Happy October!

One of my favorite part of our Paris trip was taking the train out to visit Versailles. We were really close on not being able to fit it into our schedule because we had read that you pretty much needed a whole day to fully enjoy Versailles. But we decided to go ahead and go and we were so glad we did! And it's true on what we had read, you can spend your whole day there, just hours of looking at everything. But we did a little over half of our day and still was able to see majority of the Château de Versailles. We also got to visit the Petit Trianon and the Queen's Hamlet which is where Marie Antoinette spent a lot of her free time. The gardens as you can see from the pictures were beautiful and my favorite room in the whole Palace was the Hall of Mirrors (Galerie des Glaces). It was like you can take a selfie anywhere in that room! ;)
Tip - we arrived 45 mins before entry time and had our museum pass ready. The line is separate from the ticket line but with the museum pass you can go straight to the entry line to wait and get in. We got lucky and was able to go into each room without having a crowd next to you or in front of you. We were able to take pictures without a lot of people in the background or get bumped while listening to the audio guide that they had provided.

Hope you enjoy my pictures of Versailles! Since I was so busy this Summer planning this Europe trip, I totally forgot to celebrate the 2nd year Blogiversary of She is Lovely! And the blog also hit over 500k views! That's half a million! Crazy... :) I would like to do a giveaway now that things has sorta settled back down. So to all my readers that had stuck with me in the last two years, I wanted to give you the opportunity to enter to win a $25 giftcard to my favorite store - Nordstrom!
