Happy Tuesday!

Here is my final style collaboration with Persunmall showing off this cute colorblock grey/black sweater which I've decided to pair with these charcoal grey harem pants that I found at the new Zara store (that just opened up in downtown Seattle). They are so comfy! I must admit that I have never been a huge fan of harem pants but I'm slowly becoming a believer on how nice they can be! Especially since they're from the kids section so the length and fit was perfect! Not too baggy or too long for my petite self. And what a fun way to add a casual piece into an everyday look. :)

Happy Thursday!

I don't know if it's been obvious that my favorite color is blue. I just love any shade of blue whether it's teal or light blue. I just seem to be drawn towards it when I'm asked to choose a favorite color. That or grey. haha.. So I automatically chose this zippered cardigan from Persunmall because of the navy blue color which caught my eye. I thought it would be nice to style with and like how it looks unzipped. I was expecting it to be a tad more longer than cropped but either way I think it looks great with this mutli-colored skirt. A simple way to add color for transitioning into Spring! :)

Product Review: Organaca [Sponsored]

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

Happy Tuesday!!

Today's post is brought to you by Organaca which is a sister company to Charleston Naturally. And if that company sounds familiar, that's because I had done a previous product review post for Charleston Naturally before here a year ago! Organaca was recently launched to to be dedicated for luxury organic beauty and great quality of organic brands. They had sent me three products to try out and test to see how I liked each one.

I was given the 1.35 fl oz bottle so the price will be slightly different than the one shown on the website which is for $42.95 (for 5.1 fl oz). So the product is meant for firming of the mature skin which quite honestly you can never start too early to make sure no premature wrinkles or stretch marks start forming. The smell is light and not too strong which I liked and applying was quite after each shower. I haven't noticed any different yet but I had only used this product for only a week. I'll continue to use it daily to see if I notice anything in another week or so. :)

As you can tell, I have been using this product more than the body lotion. The hand cream comes in this foil-like tube which is easy to squeeze and the product itself has a light citrus smell and is non-greasy feeling. Which is a big pet peeve of mine on lotions especially for the hands. I can't stand greasy film after moisturizing and this hand cream was none of that (yay!). It definitely keeps my hands moisturized for a few hours before I wash my hands and have to reapply. But so far it's been my go-to in the mornings and evenings.

1.0 oz for $24.96

Out of the three products, I was most excited about this one. Funny story was I had been reading reviews on this toner and was thinking about purchasing it at our local Whole Foods. But after much debate, I decided to not buy it at the time until I had used up my other toners (which I'm pretty bad about using up). So I was super thrilled when I opened up the box and saw this laying inside! I use this toner every night before I hop into bed and after cleansing my face. I simply hold the bottle six inches away from my face with my eyes and mouth closed and spray about 2-3 times all over. You do not need to shake the bottle which I learned the first time using it. haha.. I have oily combination skin so this toner is supposed to remove the excess oils from your skin without drying it out and keep it balanced. I also have pretty sensitive skin so I've been monitoring to make sure I haven't broken out and so far I haven't yet! This is also alcohol-free but the smell does have a slight alcohol-ish scent which might be just the witch hazel.

$15.99 for the bottle

So there you have it! My honest opinions for each product after a week of usage. I plan on using these three products more through-out the month and hopefully see some major results. I have noticed that my face is less red and not as irritated. But then I recently did get a blemish on my chin which might be the cause of other products I'm using as well on my face. I'll have to try it out fully without anything else to get true results.

Please go check out Organaca and if you're interested in purchasing any organic products off of their website, they have given me a discount code for all of my lovely readers to use.

'LOVELY15' for 15% off all products

Definitely take advantage of that discount code and let me know which products interested you!

Also, let me know below in the comment section which skincare product is your holy grail! I love trying out new stuff and would love to see what you guys like. :)

Happy Thursday!

Well tomorrow is Valentines Day and this is how I'll celebrating this Hallmark holiday. Pretty much just sitting and relaxing at home while the Hubs will be cooking me a romantic dinner! Doesn't that sound like the greatest?! To me it is just because I'm usually the one always cooking at home almost every night. hehehe.. Oh, and he also got me an early v-day gift of this pretty sterling silver infinity ring. It was unexpected and sweet! The infinity has always been a favorite symbol of mine and it holds a lot of meaning for me. :)

And it wouldn't be Valentines Day without wearing some red, right? I received this red zipper sweater from Persunmall and it's pretty unique with both sides having zippers and chunky enough which is great for the cold weather. But I'm still trying to figure out how to make it less boxy looking on me. Any ideas?

Also, I received this sterling silver floating heart necklace that's been handmade and personalized with my name! Thanks to MyNameNecklace for sending me this lovely gift just in time for Valentines! It's really pretty and not too big for an everyday wear. And if you like this necklace or any other jewelry on their website, they're offering 10% off all items to all of my She is Lovely readers with the code: "LOVELY". Go take advantage of this wonderful offer!!

How will you be spending your Valentines Day?

Happy Tuesday!

Aeropostale recently launched their second Spring collection and also the second lag to the new Bethany Mota collaboration. I chose this tee from her latest line because I really liked the quote, "Be You" a lot and the delicate feathers design. So simple and chic at the same time. A definite repeat for the spring wardrobe! I paired it with this chunky cream zip-up cardigan which I've been loving for keeping myself warm in this crazy cold winter. As you can see, we recently got snow over the weekend! And Kobi just photobombed the first half of my photos. haha.. Also, I've been on the layering necklaces trend. What a great way to be creative!!

Also, the winner of my Iconemesis giveaway has been chosen here. Go check out who won! :)

Are you ready for Spring?

Happy Thursday!

First I'd like to say "Thank You" for all the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday for the past few days and now it's back to reality aka work. It was nice spending time relaxing with the Hubs and Kobi. I also enjoyed the nice weather we've been having except for the freezing temps but other than that, the blue skies made up for it! Sad for the Mid-Westers and East Coasters that's experiencing the snow storm. If it makes you feel any better, supposedly we're getting snow this weekend. So we'll see what happens.

As for this outfit, I picked up this rosy pink sweater from H&M recently and I didn't bother to try it on because I knew from first glance it would be something I would totally wear for the upcoming Spring season.  The color is simply pretty and I love how this sweater feels. I paired it with some drapey cinch pants from Old Navy which makes a great pair of pants to just lounge around in or dress up for work. I've done both. :)

Last day to enter my Iconemesis iPhone case giveaway here. Don't miss out!!

Happy Tuesday!

Most of this outfit you see are pieces put together from items I saw on other people here on the internet/social media. Yep, it's true! I wouldn't have completed this outfit if it weren't for the blogger world, YouTube, and Instagram. This J.Crew military shirt I first saw in their catalog back in November but didn't think too much about it until I saw Rita wear it this post here then I wanted it! Good thing I got it on a good sale during the holidays while Christmas shopping. ;) For the Creme De La Creme sweatshirt I saw it on Hollyannaeree's Instagram pic which I've been wanting a top that stated the chic quote. Unfortunately I had ordered it from Nordstrom a few weeks ago and now I can't find it on their website. Hopefully they still have it in stores for those who wants it. Then I went to the Ulta over the weekend and spotted this NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee that I remembered my fav YouTuber, HeyClaire talked about it in one of her favorites video. And last, thanks to Instagram again.. I saw that elisharon does handmade custom bracelets and I was thrilled! She created my name bracelet for me and I love it!! Seriously has been on my wrist every single day! Definitely go check her Instagram and blog if you would like a bracelet.

Oh, and did I forget to mention.. today is my birthday?? Yayy! Happy Birthday to Moi! :) I've taken a couple days off to spend time and celebrate with the Hubs who has been spoiling me! And I also would like to say thanks to all my readers for your support and don't forget to enter in my recent Iconemesis giveaway here! You still have a few days left! Good luck!!
