Happy Thursday!

How cute is this houndstooth print coat sent from Sheinside? When I received it, I was thrilled to style it immediately for an Spring outfit. Just by pairing it with bold colors like teal and neon yellow! Even though it seems like this coat is geared more towards Winter, I figured just adding these bold colors will keep it more season appropriate. What do you guys think?

Would you wear houndstooth for Spring?

Happy Tuesday!

Lately with the Spring weather being so nice, I've been using this oversized tartan button up from Aritzia as a light jacket. It's cute to dress this up with basic black pieces or even other patterns. I hope to continue to wear this through-out the season. And how great it is to be wearing my Zara skort more often now which is much needed to have sun shining on my pale legs. :)

And speaking of legs, I received this razor just in time for the upcoming Summer from Dorco

Before, I actually used a men's razor to shave with because it got a cleaner shave with the triple blades versus the double blades that women's razor usually has. But when I tried this Shai razor instead, I was pretty impressed on how close it got even with the double blades. I also like the fact that it came with another razor cartridge and a holder with a suction cup on the back to stick. The package is cute and can't beat a razor that's pink, right?? ;)

Dorco is also offering all my readers a 20% discount (one-time use only) that expires on 04/30/14.

Please use "SRSS189M9" for the discount.

Happy Shaving!

Happy Thursday!

On a recent shopping trip, my friends and I ventured into Nordstrom for their annual women shoe sale going on. One thing I would have never thought about, were buying myself a pair of oxfords. For one reason, I had always thought they were meant to look better for older folks but more and more I kept seeing them on store displays and couldn't stop thinking about how it would be nice to get a pair too. I mean look how comfy they are! So I got lucky enough with finding these Steve Madden oxfords during the shoe sale plus being the only pair left and in MY size! It was meant to be I believe (I always say that!) haha.. They've been my go-to shoes for work because they easily slip-on without having to un-tie the laces and plus they go well with just about anything!

What do you think about wearing oxfords?

Happy Tuesday!

Sorry for the lack of posts last week, I've been busy lately and trying to take photos and edit these blog posts has been hard to fit in but I will find a way. :) So here I am sitting in bed (almost midnight) trying to put this post together. Oh yeah! And some exciting news in our family recently that I wanted to share. My husband and I are going to be an Uncle and Auntie!! Yep, my little sister is preggers and her and my bro-in-law are expecting their first child together. We still have months left to go but still can't wait until the baby is here!

Today's outfit features a white blazer that I recently received from Sheinside. I like how crisp it looks with this floral dress (which totally is similar to the Brandy Melville Jada dress). It is the perfect Spring outfit which doesn't need much added. Keeping it simple and polished is what I like.
Also, we are still picking a random winner from the Just Simply Divine Shop Giveaway so please hang tight and we will announce the winner later this week!

Happy Thursday!

Besides the pouring rain we've been having here in the PNW. Spring is almost here!

Harem pants has never been on my list of things to wear but when I saw these grey ones hanging in the girls section of Zara. I thought why not give them a try? I instantly liked how they felt and fitted without being too baggy so I bought them and have been wearing them at least once a week. They go great with a lot of outfits and even with this purple draped blazer that I picked up recently at Anthropologie. And of course who can't forget the colorful Prabal Gurung x Target flats that helps make this an even more Spring appropriate! Spring cannot come any sooner. :)

Happy Tuesday!

You may or may not know but I've dreamt about going to Paris one day which my husband and I will plan to go in due time. So in the meantime, I have always loved all things French and have been collecting here and there items that will make our home resemble part of my love.

When I saw these French prints from Just Simply Divine Shop on Etsy, I absolutely adore the phrases and wanted them for our bedroom walls (which will become a DIY project soon!). I chose the "Dream" and "I Love You" prints that comes in 8x10 sizes. My favorite is the Dream print with the gold foiled letterpress.. it is simply pretty in person! Mardy, the lovely Etsy shop owner has great meaning behind it here and you can read more behind her other designs on her blog.
