**CLOSED** January Favorites + Jewelmint giveaway

Thursday, January 29, 2015

Happy Thursday!

Starting 2015, I've decided to start posting a monthly favorites of beauty, fashion, or any items that I have been loving for the whole month. I love reading posts like these and thought it'll be fun to start showing you guys what I've been loving too! So the items (above) are things that I've been consistently using all through-out the month of January and have seen that they make a difference in my routine. If you read till the end, you can see how to enter for a fun giveaway!

beautyblender + blendercleanser

If you haven't tried the beautyblender, you are missing out! I use the bottom half for blending out foundation and the pointed tip for concealer especially under my eyes. It does wonders! And the blendercleanser has been one of the best makeup brush cleaner I've used. Better than MAC! See how white I keep my beautyblender still? It's all thanks to the beautycleanser solid!

Anastasia DIPBROW Pomade

I got this in the color 'Medium Brown' and it is the perfect color for my brows. I switched to the DIPBROW due to other reviews and I am so glad I did! I would suggest purchasing the #12 brush as well because the brush just picks up the product nicely. And a little goes a long way so this will last me a while!

Bioderma Sensibio - H2O

I had picked this product up while vacationing in Barcelona because I've heard how great of a cleanser it was. I found it in a pharmacy and was only able to buy the 100ml size due to carry-on standards. I bought three bottles and have used up one bottle so far. I use it when I take all my makeup off and prior to when I put on my moisturizer. Whatever is leftover on my face, Bioderma will get it.

Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer

New love for moisturizing the face for both day and night! It goes on nicely and absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy or sticky residue. It's perfect in the mornings before I put on my makeup because it doesn't budge underneath and the smell has a hint of rose.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed - Streak

I had debated on getting this palette for a while and finally got it at the beginning of the month. I'm so glad I did because not only does the color work for my skin tone. You get a bronzer, highlighter, and blush all in one whole palette! It saves me the time to choose which colors to go with when I can just pickup this palette and use all three. A must-have travel palette as well!

Hope you guys enjoyed my January favorites! Let me know if you have tried or used any of these products before. Now onto the fun part! Since Valentine's Day is coming up, what else would be great to have other than a lovely piece of jewelry? I've been a member of Jewelmint for years now and always find something that is pretty enough to spruce up an outfit. Happy Thursday!

During our trip to Paris, I picked this 'Champs Elysees' tee up from Zara and have been pairing it well with my neutral accessories. I looked up the address that's printed on the tee and turns out it's pointing exactly right at the Zara on Champs Elysees so how nice and convenient is that? Minnie Ears: Disneyland (Here)

Unfortunately I've been sick in bed since Sunday night and haven't been able to move or get out until today. I'm still not 100% better but enough that I can get myself into work and dress other than my Disneyland sweatshirt and yoga pants. (Even though it's the comfiest outfit ever!)

So with some delay, here is my photo diary on when we flew to Disneyland the day after Christmas. Background - Hubs had surprised me on Christmas Day with plane tickets to go to Cali to spend the next four days in the sun and just have some Disney fun. I wasn't expecting it at all! He had been planning it for the whole month and even worked it out with my coworkers and manager ahead of time. I was completely clueless.. and then by Christmas Day my whole family knew and so when it came down to finishing up our annual family white elephant exchange, we were cleaning up until one of my cousins handed me a gift saying I had 'missed' it. I was speechless and opened it in front of everyone and was brought to tears of joy when I pulled out a Minnie Mouse tee and Mickey ears. And I thought my surprise gift to him was the best! But his surprise obviously had mine beaten by a lot!

So here's a recap of what we did during our three day pass at Disneyland and California Adventures. Our fourth day didn't count besides us landing and going straight to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffle House. Bomb!

1. Don't let the blue skies fool you. It was chilly as hell! It started to warm up later in the day..
2. Day 1 #ootd which the only thing keeping me warm was my Brandy Melville cardigan!
3. Got my Minnie ears ready and waiting to get on the Matterhorn bobsled.
4. Mickey balloons everywhere! I wanted a Baymax one! So cute!
5. It's a Small World (After All). Prettier at nighttime with all the lights!
6. The Holiday decorations just got everyone in the spirit!
7. Sleeping Beauty's castle never looked better with snow caps.
8. Gotta fuel up with some Starbucks at the happiest place on earth. :)
9. Didn't take a pic with Mickey himself but the poster is close enough.
10. Day 2 #ootd which this time I was smarter and kept warm with my Community sweatshirt.
11. Taking a pic of the carousel, have you entered my Daniel Wellington giveaway yet??
12. I skipped the Haunted Mansion last time (b/c I'm a pansy).. but I went and I really liked it!
13. What is better than mickey-shaped beignets?? I got both original and pumpkin!
14. This BBQ chicken and coleslaw stuffed baked potato that was on the list of things to eat.
15. Waited for 25 mins for this Lobster roll. It was good but could've been better.
16. Paradise Pier is always so pretty esp with the sunset.
17. Goodnight to Sleeping Beauty's castle. See you until next time!

Hope you've enjoyed my recap of our Disneyland trip! If you want to see more pictures, head over to my Instagram. :) Also, don't forget to enter my latest giveaway to win your own Daniel Wellington watch!

Necklace: Old Navy (Similar)
Bracelet: Tory Burch (Here)

Happy Thursday!

This outfit is what I had wore on Christmas Day and it features this dark blue plaid shirt from Aeropostale. I purposely got this top in medium because I wanted a more looser boyfriend fit kinda of look and being able to layer with it makes it more versatile. Also, as you can see.. I've been loving this Classic Sheffield Lady watch that was sent to me from Daniel Wellington. It's such a minimalist piece that it just looks great with everything! I seriously choose it over my other watches whenever I dash out the door. I am contemplating on getting their other straps to change it up. It's so great that it allows you to do that and it'll still be the same classic look! Their watches has been popping up almost all over Instagram worn by bloggers and happy customers. I've seen it even sold online at retailers like Urban Outfitters and Revolve Clothing. I didn't realize how popular they've been! But I can see why! They're really great watches!
What's even more great is that I've teamed up with Daniel Wellington again to this time giveaway one of their classic timepiece to a lucky She is Lovely reader! It will be winner's choice of any DW watch. :)
A sneak peek of my Disneyland Photo Diary.. ;)

Product Review: evian Facial Spray

Tuesday, January 6, 2015

evian Facial Spray c/o evian

Hope everyone had an fantastic Holiday and New Years! Mine was good and relaxing. Got to spend time with the family and the Hubs surprised me on Christmas Day with a trip to Disneyland! It was such a big surprise that I was speechless when I opened the box up to see a Minnie Mouse t-shirt with Minnie Ears inside. He had planned it for a month and even worked it all out with my family, boss, and coworkers (behind my back!). He was able to get me off for the next couple of days. So we flew out literally the next day! It was so much fun! And I will have a Disneyland photo diary up soon to show you guys what we did. If you've been following me from two years ago, you might remember that we went to Disneyland before Christmas so for a throwback, here's Part 1 and Part 2 of that trip. Because of that trip, he's been wanting to take me back since. :)

As for today's first post of 2015, I wanted to do a product review on the evian Facial Spray that I received from evian a few weeks ago. I've seen this product around at Sephora and Nordstrom but was always skeptic just because it's basically.. natural spring water in a spray can. When the company sent me the product, I was looking at it and still kinda skeptic but thought I'd just give it a try. As instructed, you can use it day or night or both! So each day I used it twice a day - once in the morning right after I put on my makeup (with a light hand of misting) and once at night right after I remove all my makeup off. At first I didn't see much of a difference in my skin but as I continued to use it, I noticed that my makeup looked more flawless and with the weather drying out my skin lately, it helped prevent that from happening. It kept it fairly moisturized and made my skin look refreshed! I was a bit surprised, it was actually a good product! I received the 5 fl.oz can which retails for $12 at most retailers. It has lasted me for about two weeks of using it and still feels at least half-full. I have lots of other facial sprays that I use on occasion such as the Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Spray and Skindinavia No More Shine Spray. The evian Facial Spray feels much more natural than spraying chemicals on. I would highly recommend it to others who is a makeup fanatic like me or just want to take great care of their skin!

Have you ever tried the evian Facial Spray before?

Also, the winners of my last two giveaways has been chosen! If you would like to see who've won, click here and here for those winners! Congrats!

Disclaimer: evian did send me the complimentary product so I can do a review.
