It's another part deux collaboration happening this week! And ironically with about the same timeline of close to three years since I've last partnered up with Sunglasses Shop. My first post with them is actually right here! This collaboration is with Le Specs again (a brand that I never heard of before until I got introduced to in my other post). This time I chose the Runaways Luxe which are super gorgeous. I just love the black and gold details on the sides and I'm all about the big frames to cover part of my face! :)
This is a part deux to collaborating with eShakti for the blog. I've partnered up with them back in the beginning when I was still getting my blog going - post here! What a difference it's been from then till now.. almost three years! And ironically I chose another color-block piece from their collection. I guess I just love color-blocking. ;) A great feature that eShakti provides is custom-sizing or custom-style any of their items which I took advantage on with the long sleeves of this coat! I have fairly short arms so of course I chose to shorten the length to my wrists which came out perfect as you can see! I am able to wear without having to roll-up the sleeves. haha..

I had the privilege on being selected as one of the thredUP Insta-gals for the month of February. So as part of being an thredUP insta-gal, I got to go through the process of picking a piece off of their website. If you guys haven't heard of thredUPyet, they are an consignment-like website that buys and sells gently used/like-new name brand/designer items. Everything is hand-picked with a examination and they have a variety of clothing to accessories to shoes! While browsing through, I fell in love with this Rebecca Minkoff clutch that I thought matched perfectly with my RM crossbody that is in a dark forest green color as well. And the fact that it says "Beauty Essentials #nofilter" which is very fitting to ME! haha.. :)
So I thought I'd give you guys a look at some beauty favorites at the moment..
Even though I've all about wearing neutrals. It doesn't hurt to add a pop of color every now and then especially through accessories or shoes! These gorgeous handmade "Antique" ballet flats were sent to me by a local Seattle company called Fuchsia Shoes. I love supporting local businesses! All of their shoes are handmade with the finest materials and traditional craftsmanship in Pakistan and takes a little over a month to make one pair. And the special part - each pair doesn't have a right or left shoe so you can wear them with the comfort of slipping them on and heading out the door! The styles are traditional and stylish enough with the intricate embrodiery to go well with any outfit. :)
Fuchsia Shoes also just launched a Kickstarter campaign today which will give you more information on what their project is all about! With the success of this campaign, they would be able to offer full time job opportunities to local artisans, help build inventory locally, increase their design offerings, and develop new shoe patterns. And the opportunity to support and purchase a pair (or more) for less! For even more information, you can check out their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
Since it's still the beginning of 2016, fitness is practically on almost everyone's resolution esp whenever the holidays are over. A great way to help kick that into gear is to get equipment that will help you along and show some results without having to kill yourself over. TKO sent me their Ab Stretch 4-Way Resistance Band to give a try into my workout routine. After a few weeks, my arms and thighs does really feel the burn. haha.. It helps tone the muscles without having to do a ton of weight lifting like I used to at the gym. Its pretty easy and simple to use and you workout with it in the comfort of your own home! The only complaint would be after a while, the bottoms of under my feet does become sore after awhile from stepping on the loops but it helps with socks. ;)
Also, currently I have a fun giveaway going on my Instagram (HERE) which I've partnered up with other Seattle style bloggers for a Valentines Day theme! Go check it out and enter! There is a total $440 value of prizes from 9 different Seattle-based shops/brands. One which everyone of course loves.. Nordstrom! <3
Disclaimer: TKO gifted me this complimentary product for a review.
But all honest opinions and thoughts expressed were my own.
I'm a big-time advocate for skin care and have started out fairly early to help prevent any premature aging and keeping my face hydrated especially during the winter time. So that's why today I'm talking about Nügg Beauty and some of their face masks that they had sent me to try out! Each face mask has their own different type of purpose on helping to rejuvenate your face.
I've tried only the deep cleansing and I must say it's so nice! It was a 2014 & 2015 Allure Beauty winner which I can see why. It leaves my skin feeling very refreshed and super soft. :) And for the price, it's $3.29 per mask which I think is a great deal! And you purchase them on their website or at other major retailers like Target or Amazon!
Yep, today is my birthday. I'm both happy and sad - a mix of emotions. As you get older, it's never an exciting feeling when celebrating your birthday but at least I'll get to be with my family and friends. :)
I received this beautiful Loire bracelet from Roxanne Bergez - an online jewelry company based in San Fran that specializes in handmade leather/skins bracelets and cuffs. Each of Roxanne's collection are all named after rivers in France which I thought was so creative! The quality of the bracelet is simply gorgeous and love the fact that you can choose your wrist size. I always have the issue with bracelets or cuffs being way too big for my petite wrist. But Roxanne did a wonderful job and it fitted perfectly!
