Last weekend, I was invited by Western Chief & Chooka to join 14 other bloggers from the Seattle area on an all-day bloggers field trip to go see the tulips up in Mt.Vernon. If you're not from the PNW, the Roozengaarde opens up for people to come and visit to enjoy all the pretty tulips that has bloom for Springtime. There are fields and fields of all kinds of tulips with different colors and species. There were even ones that reminded me a lot like my favorite, peonies! So pretty! :)
Each blogger got to choose a pair of Western Chief or Chooka rain boots to wear for the tour of tulips as the fields can get a bit muddy. We got lucky since the weather was so nice that it wasn't as bad. But with my Chooka rain boots, it helped keep my feet dry from any puddles that I had came across and they were easy to walk in! After spending almost an hour and half playing and taking photos in the field, we were treated to lunch at a nearby vineyard on their outdoor patio. We got to listen to the marketing group talk about their Spring and Fall 2016 collection and what will be coming soon. Overall it was a lot of fun and definitely a cool experience! Huge thanks to Western Chief and Chooka (Washington Shoe Company) for taking us out on this day trip and the whole event was hosted by the Jenn from Hello Rigby! <3
