How amazing is Seattle? We love our city!

 Watch: c/o JORD (Here)

Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone who had a Memorial Day weekend have an awesome one! I always look forward to these kinds of long weekends. :) For those who follow my Snapchat (@sheislovelyblog) over the weekend, the Hubs and I took a ferry ride over to Bainbridge Island for a fun-filled day trip. The ferry ride itself only took 30 mins to cross from Seattle to the island which was surprisingly fast. We got lucky both times going there and back and always caught the earlier ride so we didn't have to wait another hour or so for the next ferry. We took the opportunity to shoot some photos of the recent new JORD watch that my Hubs received in time for their men watch campaign for upcoming Father's Day! *hint* It's June 19th!

The Hubs chose this particular watch from their Sully series because of the big round face and the unique combo of Dark Sandalwood and Maple that makes up the whole timepiece. It goes well with any outfit for guys due to how neutral these wood colors are. Also, the craftsmanship is amazing and even though it's all made out of wood, it wears extremely comfortable! The JORD men watch collection ranges in all styles and sizes and at a great affordable price which makes it the perfect ideal gift for Father's Day or for any special guy in your life! :)

Also, you can use the promo code "DADsheislovelyblog25" for a $25 voucher towards your purchase!

Happy Thursday!

Last night, the Hubs and I went to go watch Beyonce in concert and she was AH-mazing! This was our second time watching her perform live (first time of her tour with Jay-Z) and it just couldn't get any better. She literally is the Queen! :) So now I'm resting up from all the fun we've had. If you haven't caught it yet, you can peek at almost the whole show on my Snapchat (@sheislovelyblog)! :)
This look on the blog today, I did an all-black outfit to match along with some of the accessories that I had received in the mail recently. I was given an option to choose my own MVMT watch and I decided to go with the all-black just because I didn't have any other watch like it. I always love wearing the color black so it made much sense to add it to my collection! Also, UncommonGoods sent me both the Links of Love necklace and bracelet from their jewelry collection which I thought was so pretty and has that simplicity vibe. Great to pair with any outfit! Their website sells handmade unique pieces from different designers (not just jewelry) which I think is such a cool way to pickup a handmade piece or two!

MAKE Beauty

Tuesday, May 17, 2016

Happy Tuesday!

I had received a few samples from MAKE Beauty that I wanted to share with you guys today on the blog. And to be honest, normally I wouldn't be using stock photos from sponsors but the samples that I had received were pretty small that it wouldn't give you guys a good close-up look to what the color of the lipstick and eye shadow really is. So to make this a better product review, I'm using their stock photos but giving you my opinion on each. :)

Matte Finish Eye shadow in Alabaster (Here)

Retail Price: $25 USD

This eye shadow is a great color to use as a brow bone highlight or inner corners of the eyes. I wouldn't use it for any other part of the eyes besides that simply because the color shade is a tad too light to use on the eye lids. Glides on smoothly and the shadow itself had a nice texture to it. Not grainy at all.

Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy (Here)

Retail Price: $25 USD

A pretty berry-ish color for the lips when using it on a daily. It has great pigmentation and I found that it wears nicely though-out the day without having to re-apply as much. The travel-sized tube that they sent me is perfect to take along in the purse anywhere and I wouldn't mind using this color if this was the only I had laying around. It's almost like your lips but better. :)
